Shaggy was unsettled in the impatience of waiting for Sarah, who had been gone for a good 15 minutes so far, and the impatience within him couldn't hold out any longer as he said aloud a troubling concern.
"So like, will Sarah be back in time for her food? I'd hate for her to miss out on such a delicious hamburger and fries!" "I mean, it's food, Demens will always return for food." Joker replied curtly.
"Hence why she has us staying at the diner." Moriarty added.
"Correct." The clown agreed.
Master had been staring out the window, seemingly in deep thought, as he ran his tongue gently against his cheeks and rubbed his fingers together, until he at last broke away from his trance and turned his attention back to the others. "Give her ten more minutes..the tracker should have led her to him by now..if she isn't back, we'll go looking."
Daphne shifted, uncomfortably. "Sooo...what exactly do you all DO?"
Her question made the four exchange uneasy glances.
"Well.." Jim began, mentally searching for the right words. "As of late, I guess you could say we've been 'helping', against our wills, Demens save planets."
"On a normal schedule, though, we're the ones the planets need saving from." Said the Master.
"We've developed this..arrangement with Demens..see, she's the whole saving, hero type, pretty bleeding heart..she worked it out with us so she could travel the worlds and save the people. That sort of crap." Complained Joker. "And part of that agreement is, well, we can't be naughty." Added Jim.
"Which basically means she's forced us to go hero and doesn't allow us to hurt anyone..innocent, that is." Joker's eyes fell. "If you think about it, Demens is rather twisted..using us against our own."
Velma's forehead crinkled. "But why use you? You four don't seem all that powerful?"
Moriarty was taken back a little by this, as if offended. "Well yes, but, um...we are."
"We're criminal masterminds." Joker bloated.
Jim's eyes gazed into Velma's as he brought his straw to his lips. "Very special criminal masterminds."
"Jinkies." Velma blushed.
Master's eyes rolled, directly to Jim. "PLEASE, spare us."
"You're just cross because my advances don't work on you."
"I'd say..he knocked you out that one time." Joker smirked in memory, his eyes moving to the ceiling.
"That was a beautiful moment. True highlight to my vacation."
"For the last time, clown, this is NOT a vacation!" Master yelled.
"YOU'RE not a vacation!" Joker yelled back.
"I'M a vacation." Moriarty doted on himself.
"I can see Sarah has a lot to juggle." Velma concluded.
"So what about you, big guy?" Fred inquired. "You don't really seem like you want to talk."
"He does that." Master answered.
"He's very silent." Moriarty added.
"Like a giant boulder that follows us around most of the time." Said the clown.
"We chronicle the days that he speaks." Moriarty revealed.
"Which is mostly when he threatens us." Master concluded.
Fred held his chin. "Fascinating."
There was an abrupt low growl in the air, which made all look around, until Shaggy held his stomach and whimpered. "Like, I don't know about you guys, but I'm really hungry!"
"Same."
"Don't you start, Saxon." Snapped Joker.

Figures, you go hunting for an attractive stranger and you wind up stumbling upon an ogre instead.
Le sigh.
To be honest, I was expecting something like this to happen, considering I've as much luck as a storm trooper's aim, so, yeah..
I tilted my head as I faced the stranger standing across the dock from me, nudging my attention his way as my hand gently gravitated to my holster. "Hi there."
The stranger had literally no details, just stood as a hulking figure of shadow in the poorly lit dock, which, by the way, was flickering, so joy.
I smiled, nervously, hoping my paranoia was just on a high and he was really a harmless fisherman equally cautious of my existence as his was to me. I really wasn't in the mood for a fight.
"You haven't by chance seen an attractive young guy, have ya? And I'm looking for one in particular, I'm not just out for a random hook up."
He did not respond...assuming, of course, it was a man.
I cleared my throat and took a step forward, trying to attempt to get a better look.
"Look, I know you're not who I'm looking for, and that's fine. But why you standing over there all creepy-like, in the shadows, watching me, like a creepe--"
That's when I realized...I was in Coolsville...land of the monsters..and that figure had suddenly become familiar to me..I swallowed.
It was the Creeper.
"..Okay..you're the Creeper...that's cool."
I took two more steps forward, nodding my head his way.
"I know you're not for real, so you don't threaten me in the slightest. And even if you were for real, I'm still not threatened. I know it's you, Carswell. How you got out of jail is beyond me, but I know it's you. So cut the act. Come out of the dark. We can talk about this."
Despite me saying this..he did not respond. He just continued standing there..staring at me..and something screamed at me that something was not right about this..not at all. He was human, and he wasn't acknowledging it. Not even when I acknowledged to him that I knew he was fake.
"Carswell..c'mon..cut the act."
That's when it happened.
He took a step forward.
My eyes began to enlarge. "Bruh, what are you doing?"
He took another step forward, that was so forced, it vibrated across the dock.
"Carswell, stop." Another step. "Carswell!" Another. "CARSWELL!!"
And before I could react further..he lunged right at me.
The enormous fiend sent out a hauntingly violent roar of a shout as he thundered my way with a powerful degree of strength. Legit monster or not, dude was crazed and coming at me, so I had no choice but to whip out my gun and aim it at him. I fired a shot, but the oaf surprisingly dodged my attack, ducking just in time for it to barely miss his head, where I was aiming for his chest.
I fired another shot, but he came right behind, rendering it too late to hit him, where he intercepted my next attack by grabbing my arm and my face.
"WHATTHECRAP?!" I yelled, all muffled. Just as he growled and drove me backwards by the face, into the wall of the building, violently gripping onto my skin. He then attempted to knock my head against the wall, but I resisted with the little power I am able to muster.
His next plan of attack was to disarm me, which he unfortunately succeeded in by flicking my wrist, causing the gun to swirl out of my possession. Frick.
"Carswell, what the heck are you doing?!"
You would think by me knowing who he really was that he'd quit the Creeper act, but no..he really was acting like an actual freaking monster. "STOP IT!" He didn't listen.
Just kept on trying to get me. My constant in an enemy.
In the struggle, I dropped the tracker, which didn't exactly matter considering I was currently fighting for my life. He proceeded to try and push me back against the wall, but I headbutted him which disoriented him for but a second. I took that moment to break free and punch him right in the face, which he grunted harshly at. I punched him again and kicked him away.
"I don't care if you are an old man, I'm kicking your tail for that!!"
He grunted again and tried to gain back his composure, but I was too quick for him.
I jumped behind him, swirling around to his back, which he reacted in confusion over, then I leaped up and wrapped my arms around his neck, where he squawked angrily.
"Say UNCLE!"
His arms flapped uncontrollably, trying to get me off. But I refused to be shaken; I held on with all my strength as he staggered around the dock, screaming bloody murder as his arms waved about trying to snatch me. I held my hand up. "And the Creeper is REALLY-"
I tugged his hair. My heart stopped. He reacted in pain.
I looked down at his neckline..his skin was all one, with no separation to imply a mask..
I swallowed. "...the Creeper?!"
Snatch.
Snatch.
The Creeper grabbed me by the shirt and I yelled in surprise as I was hurdled over his shoulder, into the hard uncomfortable dock, where I landed on my front side. My face snapped to the side as my body made a crushing thud that almost made it sound like I broke something.
But I didn't. And I quickly recovered from this, shooting up just as he came down with all his force, slamming his fists into the wood with a raging scream, right into where my body once laid.
What's going on?! What's happened to Carswell?!
"Carswell, stop this!"
He didn't listen at all. It was as if he longer recognized as Carswell.
And this made things all the worse. "Dude, I know it's you! Stop!"
He swung around and tightened his fists as his dark eyes met mine.
I swallowed through being out of breath.
"Okay..I get the message...you're not Carswell."
He turned and advanced towards me, slowly, growling all the while.
"..Not anymore."
He smiled as he realized I was in distress.
"I don't suppose you want the paper, eh?"
He said nothing. I sighed. "Yeah, I know.."
He grinned and with that, once again lunged at me.
I dodged this and hurried back to my gun. But just as I grew a few inches away, he snatched my shirt and tugged me backwards. I yelped as he threw me painfully around, violently knocking me right in the building once more, where I gritted my teeth as I slammed against the wall, slumped upon the ground.
I tensed painfully and looked up at him. He wasted no time coming towards me and I swallowed, again, for the umpteenth time. Oh boy..
He was crazed mad now over what I tried to do. And to be honest, I don't blame him.
I was in deep doodle.
With enlarged, crazed mad eyes, he stared down into my soul as he approached, his fists rising and tightening the closer he got. I was just about to move again and make for my gun..
when it happened...
A brief and very powerful flash of light strobed out of nowhere and disoriented the Creeper, making him flutter his eyes in surprise and stagger back with a grunt-- then suddenly, a strong supply of smoke was released into the air as a tiny pellet was thrown overhead, distributing and spreading throughout the area. This made the Creeper shout and frantically whip at the air, as if swatting invisible flies;
I, meanwhile, coughed and squinted to peer through it all, although the smoke mostly surrounded the hulking brute. This lasted mere seconds before the Creeper's head snapped to his right and like that, was met with a terrifyingly accurate blow to the face..with a nunchuk.. and this made him stagger back in shock, causing him almost to fall. Until, well, he did fall..when a freaking tHROWING STAR WAS THROWN INTO HIS SHOULDER.
My face hurt from the fall before and I was blinded by the light and smoke, so I was currently squinting at the scene, but with no less astonishment as I would have regularly. Right before my eyes, a figure appeared from the left. Clad in black, his face covered with a mask which rested below a pair of goggles over his eyes, and dull white bandages were wrapped around his hands and wrists.
He faced the Creeper with absolutely no fear.
Everything was somewhat in slow motion for me, as it seemed almost dreamlike to watch the figure at work. He tilted his head as the Creeper rose back up and yelled in a rage that screamed he wanted to murder whoever had the gull to attack him in such a way.
But just as quickly as the Creeper tried to advance, the figure instantly dispensed at least three more throwing stars..as the Creeper grunted with further, greater pain, he had enough.
He took one last look at his attacker, then one last look at me, then bailed the opposite way, limping and thudding like a bumbling oaf to an ungraceful escape.
All the while, the figure stared after him intensely, slowly easing from his fighting stature.
The smoke dissipated and the figure's image became all the more clear, as well as my head and eyesight. I had recovered from my slight disoriented state. Even through the soft lighting of the dock, I could see the details of the figure. And he was freaking awesome.
I stared up at him with an open mouth, my chest heaving frantically as I gradually sat up.
My eyes widened..and I think I was slightly developing the hots for whoever it was.
That's when his goggled eyes turned to me.
I gulped.
I lost it. My heart beat a thousand miles per second. WHO WAS THIS DASHING FELLOW, GOODNESS ALMIGHTY, SAVE MY SOUL.
The figure now stared down at me and for the first time, I was at a loss for words.
I swallowed so hard and so loudly, I'm sure he heard it.
"......um...............hi."
He tilted his head, tightening his bandaged fists.
"...Are you alright?"
I yelped internally. And I nodded my head eagerly, strands of my hair having fallen over my face.
That's when he approached me, and let out his hand. He was offering to help me up.
I glanced down at his open palm for but a second, before taking it and I was heaved back up, with little to no effort. "Good..when I heard the commotion from inside, I came out and saw him attacking you. I got worried." I breathed in astonishment.
"What are you doing out here?" He questioned.
I was about to answer that, when in the corner of my eye, I saw a blue flashing light that piqued my interest enough for me to turn my head to the ground, right at the tracker located not too far away.
A loud beeping rang in my ears and I saw that the device was pointed right at him.
My eyes instantly darted back to him. "It's you."
Despite having a mask and goggles to conceal his face, his demeanor changed to one taken back by my realization and he stepped back, his muscles tensing.
"Hey, what's going on over there?!" I heard in the distance, and my eyes instinctively snapped to who it was saying it. A fisherman had entered the scene from afar and was pointing a flashlight in our direction. I breathed in surprise, that is, when I looked back and jolted myself.
My eyes moved to the left and that's when I saw it; MB was running.
"Ohnoyoudon't!!" I snapped in one breath and immediately darted after him.
He was fast, but so was I. He sped full force down the dock and around the corner, in a matter of very minimal seconds. I completely discarded the importance of getting my gun and the tracker all in favor of pursuing him. Mystery Boy got away more than once..he wasn't getting away again.

"How much farther is it?"
Agents Mulder and Scully's vehicle drove at a steady pace towards the paved road leading to civilization. The two children had grown impatient with sitting in the car for so long and were desperate to get out and stretch their legs. "We're coming up to it now. I just saw it." Answered Scully.
The girl Eleven's eyes moved suspiciously to the two children, Mabel and Dipper.
"Are you..lost?"
They looked back at her. "Oh..yeah..." The boy answered. "..Yeah, I guess we are."
Mabel shifted and sunk in her seat. "Are YOU lost?"
She nodded her head, slowly and solemnly.
"Where are you from?"
She looked away, blinking at the outside world seen only from her window.
"..Hawkins." "Hawkins? Huh..never heard of it. We're from the city, but we went back on vacation in Gravity Falls, to visit our friends and uncles. And then..something weird happened."
"And what's that?" Agent Scully inquired from the passenger seat.
The boy's head turned to the female agent. "We were in the woods, checking out a mystery..and a flash of light appeared." "And we ended up here." His sister included.
Agent Mulder's eyes cut from the road to his partner. "The same thing happened to us."
Eleven swallowed, almost painfully. "..And me."
The five of them sat in unsettling silence as they each exchanged uneasy, troubling glances.
"What could have brought us here?" Wondered the boy. "And is it just us, or are there more people taken from their homes?" "And where even ARE we?" He nodded at his sister.
"Exactly. Where are we?? It seems pretty creepy..."
"I, for one, don't recognize it." Said Agent Mulder. "It does seem strange that we appeared in different spots from one another and not the same area. The real question is...who brought us here..and why?"
Agent Scully turned her head to her partner. "When we get to that town, we should start asking questions."
"Well, I'm hungry." The girl announced, which her brother held his stomach in agreement.
The two FBI agents shifted in their seats. Agent Scully bowed her head, secretly cutting a glance at her own stomach. "..Are you hungry, Eleven?"
The quiet girl slowly nodded her head in reply.

The two adults glanced at one another.
"I suppose we should stop to get something to eat..I'm pretty hungry, too."
Agent Scully smirked at her partner's childish comment.
"Alright..we'll stop and get something to eat. Then find you three a place to stay for the night. Agent Mulder and I need to find answers, so we'll go and ask questions around town. It's best you're kept where it's safe." "But wouldn't it be safer to stay with you?" Questioned Dipper.
"After all, we don't know where we are. This place could be dangerous."
Agent Mulder defeatedly shrugged his shoulders. "The kid has a point."
Agent Scully sighed. "Fine...we'll stick together. But if things start to look bad, I want you three to run to somewhere safe, understand?" The three children nodded.
The girl Mabel suddenly lunged forward with a gasp and pointed ahead, causing the others to look in the same direction. "Look! Are we here?! Is that it?!"
Mulder nodded and quickened the pace up a trail that led to a town, a sign resting beside the path.
The sign of which gave the five a strange, tingling and otherworldly sense of mystery.
And they all exchanged glances as they passed the sign, heading into the mysterious town ahead.
Welcome to Coolsville

Talk about chasing after boys. Literally.
The only sound that could be heard by my ears was the thunderous footsteps made by me and the dark clothed fella ahead o' me. He dodged into a tight corner, which happened to lead into the building I spoke of earlier, but being right on his tail, I immediately went in the same direction.
He quickened his pace, but I was too determined, and therefore quickened my own.
Before either of us realized, I pulled out my sheathed knife and threw it at him, where he staggered and slowed down, no doubt disoriented. And like that, I jumped forward and at last tackled the boy.
We came down hard on the floor, crashing into several crates.
"GOTCHYA"
It took him a minute for his head to clear, before he darted his gaze up at me. "Got me?!" He exclaimed. "What are you talking about?! What are you doing?!"
He rolled around on his back, out of breath. At this, I pinned him down by the arms.
"Catching you, you swift little beast! I'm not letting you escape again!"
But he seemed generally confused.
"I wasn't running from you. I was hiding from the fisherman!"
I stopped. I blinked my eyes.
"...really?"
He heaved a frustrated exhale. "Yes."
I swallowed. "...Oh."
He faced me with a heaving chest and struggling muscles.
I eased my grip on him, which he broke free from, and at last removed his mask and goggles.
My face crinkled as I stared down at him, trying to calm my nerves.
Naturally, that wasn't working. I was finally facing him. After so long..I was staring down at him, conversing with him, for more than a minute, with a clear conscious.
His eyes stared up at me, two bright green sparkles that almost gazed straight through my soul.
I couldn't bear looking at him directly any longer and therefore moved my eyes over to anything other than his face. "..I..I thought you were..." "Trying to get away from you?" I looked back.
He shook his head, his jet black hair covering his eyes as he moved up. "I would never do that."
I swallowed once again. I no longer felt it necessary to pin him down and therefore rose up, allowing both him and I to stand up. As he stood, I saw that he was only a couple of inches taller than me, about 5'7. He was medium built and smelled of a lovely cologne. Which is a bonus, cuz I really like the smell of cologne..and his voice, when he spoke, wasn't harsh or really loud at all.
It was actually quite calming and gentle, soft but not too soft, deep but not too deep.
I took a long breath and exhaled to steady my lungs. "Right..and just why are you hiding from that fisherman?" "Because he's a resident here. I can't allow too many people to see me here..because I don't want to disrupt the natural timeline."
I felt attacked.
I crinkled my brows. "How dare, you calling me out?"
He looked away. I wanted to thrash him into a concussion for being so difficult and bold.
He sighed and shook his head, then went to work cleaning up the mess we made as we tumbled.
"Listen..I can't explain right now. I don't have time. Neither of us do."
"But-" "Seriously, Sarah, I mean it! There's no time! I'll give you answers, I promise, but not now. Just get out of here and stop looking for trouble! Stay with the boys! They need you!"
"Ha! The boys don't need me!" "Not them- the children." My face dropped. "You know about that?"
"I know enough..there's serious dark forces happening in this town..and you need to fix it. We're all counting on you." "Counting on me?" "Yes. We need to find those kids before he--" He stopped himself, but didn't bother looking at me. He????
"...The pattern..the missing kids.. taken so drastically and suddenly, from completely random locations..almost like they're lured. There's an undeniable dark and violent presence here..too dark and violent for the world of Scooby Doo. It doesn't belong."
He finished putting the crates up and grabbed his mask and goggles.
"..I wasn't looking for trouble-"
He shook his head as he placed his gear in his pockets.
"-I was looking for you."
He stopped. At that, he slowly cut a glance at me.
I rose my brows.
Feel the guilt, you handsome monster.
"..Why are you looking for me?"
"Get real.." I walked around him. "You show up everywhere. Save me from time to time. Followed me around back home, and warned me to get out of the Pizza Hut. Now you show up here and tell the Scooby Gang that we're coming and we'll help them. Why WOULDN'T I go looking for you? Who ARE you?" His head bowed and he breathed gently, clearing his throat.
"...Someone you can trust..."
I tilted my head. "Are you?"
He looked directly at me and slowly nodded his head. "..I swear to you..I'm on your side....I'm just trying to help."
We were unsettled, the both of us..still, I didn't want to move. Because, despite us both recovering from being out of breath and panicked..I felt safe with him..and believe it or not, actually enjoyed standing next to him.
"Hey! Is someone in there?!"
MB shot his gaze instantly at the entrance and he backed away. "I have to go."
"No, don't!" I grabbed his arm and held him in place. "Please, stick with me! Come back to the diner and we can do this together!"
He looked back at me with such innocence and panic in his eyes, I wanted to cry.
why did he have such an impact on me, what the hecccckkkk, he's a warlock.
There was clear turmoil, I could see it, but as much as he obviously wanted to listen to me..
he couldn't do it. "I can't..." He backed away. "..I'm sorry."
My eyes pleaded for him to stay. "Don't you dare leave..I'm tired of chasing you!"
He tightened his fists and bowed his head. "..Then stop."
Before I could stop him, before another word was uttered.. he rose his arm up and tossed a small pellet on the floor, an instantaneous array of smoke filling the air, clouding the entire proximity with thick obnoxious chemicals that made me gag. "Wait!-" I coughed. "You!-" I coughed again.
"-Jerk!"
I wheezed and bent down, choking on my own lungs, until the smoke dissipated and I could see the world clearly again. I looked all around, standing back up straight.
As to be expected, he was gone. Again.
The more I thought about it, the more it donned on me, and that's when I realized fully.
"Did I just meet a ninja?"
~ ~ ~
Jim pressed his face against the window's glass.
"WHAT is taking Demens so long?!"
Daphne looked his way. "It has taken her awhile..maybe you four should go out looking for her?"
"Eh, Demens can hold her own." Joker shrugged off.
"Are you joking? That girl's pathetically outmatched." Master scoffed.
"Ye of little faith, give her time." Bane scolded.
"Time to what? Get herself KILLED?" "She's fine. Miss Demens is perfectly capable. She has her communication device." The Master paused. "..You mean the two-way radio? The 'walkie talkie'?"
"Yes. If she needs our help, she will contact us."
"Many people don't get that chance." Master grumbled.
Joker chuckled. "You know her, if she wants to do something, she'll do it. Despite everything."
"She doesn't like being told no." Moriarty included.
"Sounds like she can take care of herself." Fred pointed out.
"But there have been times she's been captured or nearly killed." Explained Master. "She's reckless."
Shaggy smiled. "If she's reckless, then she definitely can take care of herself!"
*beep beep*
"Yo, my peeps!"
The entire party jolted.
"Speak of the she-devil!" The clown exclaimed.
The radio crackled. "Guys!"
"We're coming, we're coming!" The Timelord yelled, then reached in and grabbed the device from Bane's side. He clicked the button, "WHAT?"
"'Bout time." Sarah replied.
"YOU JUST..ugh!..what do you want?!"
"Several tacos and a nice cool bottle of Pepsi."
"Where are you?"
"On my way back to the diner."
"And your mystery fellow?"
"Don't bring him into this." Moriarty grumbled.
"Gone. Vanished right infront of me."
"Vanished??"
"Yes, I mean what I say. Legit just vanished."
"You should chase after more sophisticated men, then." James muttered just as the Master pushed down the button to talk. The Timelord let go and made a face at the Irishman, when Sarah's voice came back on. "What was that?!"
Moriarty eyed the radio with dread.
"I am not chasing after anyone!! The only feelings I have for this guy is that he freaking threw a smoke pellet and made me choke and vanished before my eyes!"
"Those aren't feelings, though..?" Joker pointed out.
The Master shook his head and turned his body away from the two.
"Where are you now?"
"I'm out of the docks, back in town now. Should take me a few to get back. Is the gang still there?"
"..Yes...why?"
"Well, I bumped into an old friend of their's..remember a guy named Carswell?"
The gang perked. "Carswell?!"
"You mean he's out of jail?!" Fred exclaimed.
"ROH NO!" Scooby lamented.
"Not only that..but he was dressed in a more..villainous attire..one you'd regret recognizing."
Fred gawked. "He was pretending to be the Creeper?!"
"Well..not only that...he wasn't just DRESSED as the Creeper....he WAS the Creeper."
"What do you mean, he WAS the Creeper?" Velma inquired.
"I mean the hair I pulled on that head wasn't part of no mask. He really WAS the Creeper. He was crazed and didn't even respond to my words...he tried to kill me."
"Rill rou?!" Scooby gasped.
Velma shook her head, "That's impossible! He wouldn't be THAT violent!"
"Well tell that to my sore muscles from dodging all those lethal attacks!"
"Are you sure it was the Creeper?" Questioned Daphne. "One hundred percent positive?"
"Yes."
The party grew uncomfortable.
"Anyway..." Sarah broke through the silence. "I'm coming back now. I'll tell you what all happened when I see you." The Master nodded. "Good."
He set the device down and rubbed his tired face, "WHAT is happening to this place???"
"I just can't believe it! Missing children? Our old enemies coming back as real monsters? What's happening to our town?!"
"Well obviously something has settled here that is terrorizing the inhabitants. We've seen similar occurrences in the previous worlds we've visited."
Velma's eyes grew large, "WORLDS?!"
The Master froze...he realized the mistake he just made. His eyes glanced to the others, seeking their assistance, but they too looked alarmed. "uhhh..."
The Timelord nearly sunk out of his seat. The gang's gaze rested heavily on the four men..until..
CRASH!
They all immediately shot their heads at the window in alarm, just in time to see a car swerving out of control, spinning into others nearby, crashing with glass shattering everywhere. At once, several gasped, exclaimed in awe, and raced out of the restaurant to the madness taking place outside.

Agent Mulder cruised through the streets, keeping his pace slow and steady, with all five of him, Agent Scully and the children looking through the windows at the town surrounding them.
It was darkened and seemed to be all but abandoned.
"Don't get me wrong, it's a nice town..but shouldn't there be uh..people?"
Agent Mulder nodded, agreeing with the boy.
Agent Scully shuttered. "I don't think it's nice at all..something feels wrong here."
"Yes." All eyes turned to the girl Eleven.
She looked at each of them, appearing quite solemn.
"Something is wrong...I can feel it.."

"Well what then?" The girl Mabel pestered. She then gasped. "Are you PSYCHIC?!"
"There's no such thing, Mabel.." Agent Scully corrected.
Agent Mulder clicked his tongue. "Don't lie to the kid, Scully."
She scowled at him.

"..I remember now.." Eleven leaned forward. "..There was something..I was fighting..it..it was a..monster." The boy perked. "A monster?! What kind?! How big was it?!"
"Dipper, calm your non-alpha twin self down. She means a DIFFERENT kind of monster. Right Ellie?"
She winked at the girl, nudging her with her elbow while she whispered in secret.
"I'm putting him through monster intervention."
But Eleven only crinkled her face. "..No..it's real.."
The girl deflated.
"The monster, it..it was from..the Upside Down."
"The what???"
Eleven's eyes fell to the floorboard. She swallowed as remembrance suddenly caught hold of her and she gasped. "..Mike."

"Hey, there's a diner!" All eyes, save for the girl Eleven's, turned to the place that Agent Mulder was pointing to. "Looks nice and cozy, too, out of the cold."
"Mulder, there are people in there!"
They all peered closer to the ones sitting next to the window.
"So it is.." Agent Mulder smirked at the party. "We might finally get some answers."
They pulled in closer to park, when SMACK! CRASH!

Something slammed against the back of the car, as hard as possible, and the children all three screamed as everyone inside were knocked forward, as if knocked by a wrecking ball.
They all now screamed as the car was swirled in every which way, the five holding on for dear life, with Agent Mulder fighting for control. That's when a dark force took control of the wheel, causing him to enter a tug of war. Glass shattered everywhere, the car hitting other vehicles along the way.
Something was trying to kill them.
